Many workforce leaders have expressed interest in learning how to conduct their own worker-focused research and have asked for tools to help them build worker input into the design and delivery of programs and business services. In response, Aspen Workforce Strategies Initiative recently announced the release of two beta tools: a guide to conducting worker focus groups and a tool for conducting worker surveys.
The WES Mariam Assefa Fund is looking to identify and fund promising new ideas from organizations working with employers to advance more inclusive practices that improve economic mobility for immigrants and refugees in the U.S. The Fund is particularly excited to meet organizations that: are led and staffed by people who bring lived experience from immigrant and refugee communities and communities of color; center workers’ voices and perspectives in how they design and implement their solutions; and bring a systems-change mindset.
