Tell us briefly about your background and why you joined Workforce Matters.
I have extensive experience in the public sector, including leading Michigan’s Talent Investment Agency, which was responsible for implementing new strategies to expand effective workforce development opportunities. My passion for workforce development emerged from this experience. Joining Workforce Matters has been a huge benefit, helping me connect with colleagues around the country who are grappling with similar challenges and finding successful strategies.
What is something people might not know about you?
I really enjoy heading to Detroit for a Tigers game; hotdogs are a must.
What is something you are looking forward to this year?
My husband and I have plans to go to Iceland in the fall. I’m hoping for a chance to see the Northern Lights!
