Over the last year, Workforce Matters has launched two surveys in order to collect and respond to your feedback: one of our field partners and Fund for Workforce Equity Round 1 applicants (Sept. 2023-Jan. 2024) and one of our grantmaking members (April 2024-July 2024). Our spring member survey also included responses from those who attended our April 2024 Further Together Conference in Washington, D.C. These were our second and third surveys conducted with support from Listen4Good

Across these two surveys, we heard from a total of 68 Workforce Matters members–49 of which attended Further Together, and 133 field partners representatives–82 of which indicated their organizations had applied to the Fund for Workforce Equity.

We are greatly appreciative of everyone who took the time to let us know how we’re doing and share input on what you’d like to see next from Workforce Matters. As part of our commitment to feedback, we are pleased to share highlights from the survey results as well as our next steps with our network and field partners. Scroll through the graphics below to read the feedback summary.

As we saw in our first survey, Supporting Members, Fund for Workforce Equity and Native Nations Fund contributors, and Steering Committee members were more likely to recommend Workforce Matters to others and more likely to feel connected to other members of the network. We’re working on better highlighting the benefits of membership and how all members can engage with us! If you’re not already a Supporting Member, we encourage you to learn more!

Workforce Matters remains committed to continuing to seek and respond to your feedback. We welcome open communication with all the members of our network. Please share concerns, ideas, and feedback at any time. We will continue the practice of regular surveys and will use the information you share to fuel change and improvements.
