In 2022, as part of the launch of the Fund for Workforce Equity, Workforce Matters began a partnership with Listen4Good to build our network’s capacity to gather and respond to feedback. Our leadership team felt strongly that as we were asking our field partners to lean into centering the voices and experiences of the workers and learners they serve, we needed to learn and do more ourselves in this space.
So it was that we signed up to learn alongside a cohort of other nonprofits, all trying to get better at seeking and responding to feedback.
We launched our first network-wide member survey with Listen4Good in Fall 2022 in conjunction with our Further Together conference. Insights from that survey helped to shape member programming in 2023-24.
We launched our first field partner survey, primarily targeting Fund for Workforce Equity applicants, in Fall 2023. And we launched our second member survey in Spring 2024. Results from these surveys shaped our approach to the second round of the Fund for Workforce Equity and our program offerings in 2024-25.
Workforce Matters remains committed to continuing to seek and respond to feedback from our members and field partners. We strongly believe that good feedback loops help us identify needs, engage in continuous improvement, and develop deeper and more equitable relationships.
We welcome open communication with all the members of our network. Please share concerns, ideas, and feedback at any time. We will continue the practice of regular surveys and will use the information you share to fuel change and improvements.
