This Wednesday: Good Jobs for Young People
SEPTEMBER 21, 4:00 - 5:00 PM ET
Join Youth Transition Funders Group, the Families and Workers Fund, and Workforce Matters for this virtual panel discussion among national leaders about what good jobs look like for young people. In addition to the need for pathways programs and employment training opportunities, many young people are caretakers and heads of households. They need good jobs now. This panel will discuss current efforts to increase access to quality jobs for early-career workers, how some employers are working to become more worker-centric, and the challenges related to these efforts.
Speakers will include:
- Mimi Haley, Executive Director of the National Youth Employment Coalition
- Rachel Korberg, Executive Director and co-founder of the Families and Workers Fund
- Tameshia Bridges Mansfield, Vice President for Workforce Innovation at JFF
