You’re invited to join Workforce Matters May 20th through 22nd in Milwaukee, Wisconsin for a free Funders Learning Tour. Wisconsin is home to the oldest system of Registered Apprenticeship in the nation and one of the oldest state youth apprenticeship programs. On this site visit, participants will have the opportunity to explore the history, evolution, and structure of Wisconsin’s statewide YA system through small-group discussions with national and regional experts and a series of site visits, which will include:
- Racine Unified School District’s Academies of Racine and Career PathwaysPrograms
- GPS Education Partners, a manufacturing-specific, statewide Youth Apprenticeship Program
- Bradley Tech High School, where we’ll learn about their Multi-Craft Core Curriculum training partnership with WRTP/BIG STEP
- The Manufacturing Bridge and Health Science Youth Apprenticeship programs at Waukesha Area Technical College’s Dual Enrollment Academy
